Consultants & Fellows
Put your expertise to work for a livable future. The Climate Deadline Foundation welcomes people who want to contribute their knowledge, judgment and ideas to climate research, public education and practical climate-repair proposals.
These are currently unpaid, voluntary advisory appointments. They offer an opportunity to contribute to the mission and hold an agreed Foundation title, not a promise of paid employment.
Help shape the work
Our flagship SkyCarbon Blueprint proposes bringing AI hyperscale data centers, clean power and Direct Atmospheric Carbon Removal together, alongside opportunities for recovered-CO₂ products, manufacturing and skilled jobs. We welcome contributors who can help examine the evidence, identify obstacles and improve the proposal.
We are looking for thoughtful input, not automatic agreement. Your contribution might be a review of a draft, a policy recommendation, a research summary or an introduction to a relevant potential partner.
Ways to contribute
-
Advisory Consultants: Bring professional expertise to questions within your field. Relevant areas include climate and environmental policy, carbon removal, energy, water, engineering, recovered-CO₂ products, economics, grants, public education and community engagement.
-
Fellows: Contribute to an agreed area of research, policy or education through an advisory appointment suited to your experience and availability. Fellows may help review sources, summarize findings, develop ideas and offer recommendations.
We welcome relevant academic, professional and practical experience. The focus, level of participation and appointment period are agreed individually.
What you receive
-
A meaningful role: An opportunity to apply your skills to a climate mission and help shape the Foundation’s developing work.
-
A Foundation title: An agreed title, such as Advisory Consultant or Fellow, that you may accurately list on your résumé or professional profile, with your appointment dates and advisory or volunteer status.
-
Recognition of your participation: A genuine Foundation affiliation based on an approved appointment and agreed contribution, rather than simply submitting an application.
Clear terms from the start
These appointments are advisory and non-governing. They do not confer board membership, voting rights or authority to sign agreements, commit funds or speak on behalf of the Foundation without authorization.
There is currently no salary or stipend, and future paid work is not guaranteed. Academic credit or professional certification is not offered through these appointments; any proposed expenses must be agreed in advance.
Participation should fit your expertise and available time. Before you begin, we will agree on your title, contribution, appointment period and point of contact.
