A SIXTH EXTINCTION? WHY NOT?
Most of us have been impacted by climate change through higher food, fuel and insurance costs to destructive weather patterns, wildfires, flooding and drought, or increased asthma, COPD or other medical problems. More than 80% of Americans now agree the climate is changing rapidly (February 2026 national poll). The fossil fuel industry has continued pursuing profits and government has failed to take meaningful action. We worked inside the White House, lobbied congress, sued in federal court and even run for office with only more deferred promises of emissions reductions. While clean energy and emissions reductions remain essential for the future, we cannot get to that future without first fixing what is broken and removing greenhouse gas from the atmosphere. Right now, there is already so much carbon in the atmosphere a full emissions stop today would not save us from a sixth extinction event where somewhere around 6 billion of us starve, suffocate, overheat, drown, or die of disease or tribal violence.
To make matters worse, while the establishment has spent the last 50 years researching and studying, Climate Change has begun triggering nearly 2 dozen feedback loops, accelerating planetary heating and its consequences. By 2035-40 these circular feedbacks - such as ocean currents failing to transport heat and creating more overheating of ocean currents - will be the primary driver of climate change. With the planet itself working against us, we will lose our ability to repair the problem. This is what we at CDF call the Climate Deadline. The only choice after that point will be to suffer and sandbag. We have 10 years to use wisely.
..............
WE HAVE TEN YEARS TO FIX THIS
With time in short supply, the Climate Deadline Foundation is taking its flagship SkyCarbon Blueprint directly to Big Tech. The Blueprint calls for combining AI Hyperscale Data Centers (HDC) and Direct Atmospheric Carbon Removal (DACR) facilities on clean power (geothermal, solar, wind) campuses. By fusing heat-hungry, coolant-producing DACR with heat-ejecting and coolant immersed HDCs on the same campus we can neutralize the cost, energy, power-loss and heat problems of each while creating thousands of jobs building product from recovered nature-neutral carbon.
..............
TIME TO GO BIG OR GO HOME
Reducing "carbon footprints" should not be our focus now. Not yet. First you clean up your mess, then start the new building. Only by first working collectively to repair the damage in the atmosphere can sustainability be realized. As the Climate Deadline Foundation reaches out to Hyperscale Data companies with our SkyCarbon Blueprint we need your assistance. An effort like this requires supplies, materials, computing time, travel expenses and personnel. This is what you can do now! Work at an airline, get us vouchers. Work at a car dealership, get us a vehicle. Have money, who else do you know who can restore a future for your grandchildren? Have skills, we need you! It doesn't have to be us. Maybe you know of another organization with a plan to upscale Direct Atmospheric Carbon Removal. Great, give them support but do it, do it big and do it now! We all have to work together. There is more at risk now than ever before in human history. We need to start acting like it.

Meet our trusty mascot Peter Pika or "Pete" as we call him. Pete and his family have been forced by climate change to move thousands of feet UP Colorado mountains until recently they can go no higher. Now live births in Pete's community have dropped nearly 50%. Pete and his family are counting on us to deal with climate change while there is still time for our future generations.

The Climate Deadline Alliance: (1) Provides education and information
regarding the Climate Emergency especially regarding the impact of
legacy emissions and the climate deadline of 450 ppm atmospheric
CO2 in the mid-2030’s, (2) Works actively toward the rapid, safe and
cost/energy-effective deployment of Direct Air/Atmospheric Carbon
Removal technology, (3) Seeks to motivate environmental organizations, governments, philanthropists, churches, civic groups, media and individuals to participate in DACR deployment efforts and (4) Supports the development of political and corporate structures which will allow human beings to live sustainably with our planet's natural systems
and one another including population management and peace initiatives.

OUR VISION
Here is what we know. The last time Earth's atmosphere held this much CO₂ before a mass extinction, 90% of ocean life died. Here is what we don't know: exactly when the door opens. The paleoclimate record does not give us a clean warning. Ecosystems look stable, then they collapse — geologically overnight. We are inside the danger zone. We do not know how deep. And every year we delay, we are betting the planet's carrying capacity on the hope that the trigger point is somewhere we haven't reached yet. That is not a bet a serious civilization takes. That is why the Climate Deadline Foundation exists.
"So, first of all, let me assert my firm belief that the only thing we have to fear is fear itself — nameless, unreasoning, unjustified terror which paralyzes needed efforts to convert retreat into advance. In every dark hour of our national life a leadership of frankness and vigor has met with that understanding and support of the people themselves which is essential to victory. I am convinced that you will again give that support to leadership in these critical days." — Franklin D. Roosevelt, First Inaugural Address, March 4, 1933
"There is a tide in the affairs of men, which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; Omitted, all the voyage of their life Is bound in shallows and in miseries." — William Shakespeare (Julius Caesar, Act 4, Scene 3, Lines 243–246, spoken by Brutus)
"In a moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing to do, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." — Theodore Roosevelt
"We have the technology to build megaton-class industrial Direct Air Carbon Removal (DACR) facilities, fused with hyperscale data centers whose waste heat makes DACR finally affordable. Producing carbon-negative concrete, steel, road aggregate, and plastics — plus R-744 refrigerant to cool the datacenter's chips — SkyCarbon campuses will use 50 percent less capture energy than conventional liquid-solvent systems. Sharing on-site, off-grid renewable energy with no long-haul transmission loss, each campus will recycle every joule that flows through it, generate its own fuel from the CO₂ it captures, and run on 100 to 300 MW of onsite clean power. Climate change and hyperscale data centers are both massive problems — but not when fused together." - Christian Komor
"Bad men need nothing more to compass their ends, than that good men should look on and do nothing." - John Stuart Mill (Inaugural Address at St. Andrews, 1867; often misattributed to Edmund Burke)
